I would like to confirm how happy I was with the equipment and with the support from VMI (Kevin Oaten), everything worked to plan as well as the brilliant service and advice from Dynamic re: customs. I would also like to say, although I was a little worried prior to our departure, that the HPX 500 Panasonic P2 camera and memory cards, worked extremely well. Obviously when faced with a new system and in a country such as Sudan, miles away from any services, isolated in a small village, it is a huge risk and concern, but all went brilliantly. A little more work for the Cameraman, Angus Macfadyen, with the downloading time, but to be able to view rushes on my laptop was a huge asset and ultimately will save a lot of downloading time back at base.
